Four51 Hits Growth Spurt, Increases Staff by 50%

MINNEAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Four51, which powers B2B eCommerce for nearly 20 million users and thousands of businesses with its platform, OrderCloudTM, announced today a 50% growth in its staff over the past 12 months. This includes the hiring of four new c-level executives among which includes a handful of former Salesforce and Oracle executives.

Four51 has notably beefed up its leadership team with the additions of experienced executives from the cloud and enterprise software industry.

This includes ExactTarget/Salesforce Marketing Cloud alums, Chip House, as its new Chief Marketing Officer and Curt Olson as its Chief Product Officer. Also new to the c-suite is Sam Taylor as Chief Sales Officer, former sales leader at Oracle, and Ian O’Brien as Chief Solutions Officer, former Four 51 client and CEO of GiftCertificates.com.

The Minneapolis-based software provider has grown its staff 50% over the past 12 months, and has plans for continued consistent hiring in sales, marketing, technology and channel/solutions. The expansion comes just as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported in August that Minnesota is the fastest growing state for technology jobs. It indicated the state’s tech workforce jumped 8.36% over the past six months to 37,600 workers.
